What the mighty stroker gave us
A GOLDEN ERA OF 250 PRODDIE RACING
The early-mid ’90s saw club racing dominated by RGVS (and a few KR-1S) launching the careers of the likes of Shakey, Walker etc.
No other bike satisfied ‘GP replica’ dreams so fully. And if you wanted more, a Kocinski-style TYGA bodykit could get you closer still.
Whether it be in Pepsi or later Lucky Strike livery, no machine was more race replica than the Suzuki stroker.
THE APRILIA RS250
Glorious last hurrah for the GP250 rep would never have existed were it not for the RGV250 (which powered it).
