Our donations are vital to keep vital services flying
My husband Phillip is an experienced biker. We live near the Welsh border and, like many other bikers, he has enjoyed weekend trips into North Wales. Unfortunately, in August he had an accident and suffered multiple injuries, the most serious being a head injury. He was air-lifted to Stoke-on-trent and the swift transfer to hospital saved his life. Thanks to the Wales Air Ambulance and the medical staff he is making a full recovery. I had no idea that the Welsh Air Ambulance depend entirely on donations and need to raise £6m a year. Each mission costs on average £1500 and I’m trying to raise that amount (I’m already halfway there). Please visit my Just Giving page: Gail Bennett 3.
Air ambulance crews across the UK depend on our backing to keep them flying
