Foggy’s right on lid laws

Motorcycle News (UK) - - This Week -

Foggy and Ian Mutch (MCN Letters, January 4) are so right! While I would always wear a helmet, the choice should be mine and, as far as I’m aware, the helmet law was the first such infringement on our personal freedoms enforceable by law. Look at where we are now. The most surveillance of any country in Europe (possibly the world) and more prohibitions than you can shake a stick at. I could be dead after being hit by an Iranian embassy official (CD plate) while on my FS1-E in 1973. I was her third accident in her first week in London. That ‘should’ be prohibited. Police were livid. Martin Robinson, email
