Not on the right tracker

Motorcycle News (UK) - - This Week -

In answer to the chap who thinks all bikes should be fitted with a tracker, a tale of caution. A friend at work bought a brand new Ford Focus ST with a tracker fitted for peace of mind. After going online to see what the tracker website was recording in relation to the car’s location and journeys made, he was horrified to see the data recorded included his highest top speed, how many times he had broken the speed limit and by what speed, etc. It won’t be long before speed cameras will be redundant as the tracker will grass you up within seconds of the slightest offence. No doubt there will be people who will think it a good thing, I would at least like a fighting chance of keeping my licence clean. Steve Fellowes, email
