‘Tamburini’s masterpiece’

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Feature -

“The 916 is Tamburini’s masterpiece and made Ducati famous worldwide. This bike was in the Guggenheim Museum in America and after being returned I hid it for 17 years so that no one would sell it as it was so perfect! Early 916s were built in Cagiva’s Varese factory as Ducati’s Bologna factory was damaged in a fire.” Engine V-twin desmo, water-cooled 4-stroke, 4-valves, 916cc Power 114bhp @ 9000rpm Weight 198kg

23 years after it was first shown, the 916’s styling is still an absolute knockout
