Which superstars will you pick in your ultimate racing line-up?

MCN’S Fantasy Road Race competition is go for 2017! After a fantastic season of racing in 2016, now is the time for you to turn team manager and select your very own dream team for what promises to be another epic year of racing.

Picking the winning team won’t be easy. You’ll have to become an expert in the BSB, WSB and Motogp championships in a bid to secure the guaranteed big point-scorers, while making some shrewd investments to form a strong team that remains within your strict £13.5 million budget.

The prize for ultimate glory at the end of the year is well worth fighting for, with the overall winner getting their hands on a Shoei NXR Matt Black helmet worth £389.99! In addition, we’re also giving away a £20 MCN Shop voucher for the winner of each of the five Game Rounds across the season.

So the question is now who is going to be in your dream team and how are you going to spend your money? The first official Motogp test is now over (read all about it on pages 64-67) and it looks like Yamaha’s new signing Maverick Viñales could be one to watch for the title this year. Marc Marquez can’t be ruled out either, despite Honda still struggling with engine problems, while Valentino Rossi was grinning from ear to ear after the three days on his YZR-M1. Jorge Lorenzo is looking strong on the Ducati and don’t forget about Cal Crutchlow’s two wins in 2016.

It’s not long until the 2017 WSB season starts and once again it looks like it’ll be a fight between Jonathan Rea and Chaz Davies. Tom Sykes won’t be far behind though, and nor will Chaz Davies’ new team-mate, bad-boy Marco Melandri. With the Milwaukee Aprilia’s of Lorenzo Savadori and Eugene Laverty quick in testing, they could too join the fight. Plus, will the new Blade be enough to close the gap for Nicky Hayden? And what about Michael van der Mark and Alex Lowes at Yamaha?

It looks set to be a corker of a year in BSB Shane Byrne going up against 2016 rival Leon Haslam plus a whole host of new and returning names including Sylvain Guintoli, Davide Giugliano and Aussie Josh Brookes. As well as those guys, the likes of James Ellison, Michael Laverty, John Hopkins and Luke Mossey are back for more while young guns Bradley Ray and Taylor Mackenzie also join the grid looking to impress. ■ Register your team from Feb 8-23 at
