‘First cam belts and trellis frame’

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Feature -

“The Pantah debuted Ducati’s cam belt system, which replaced the bevel drive. The Pantah was not only the first bike to use this but also the first to have a trellis style of frame rather than a classic steel one. But it wasn’t a true trellis; that arrived in 1980 with the 600 TT2 racer.” Engine V-twin desmo, air-cooled 4-stroke, 2-valves, 497cc Power 45bhp @ 9050prm Weight 180kg
