Q Should I stop my insurance?

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Garage -

I was insured fully comp when I was knocked off last August. The bike was a write-off and I won’t be able to ride again for at least another six months. My insurance was paid in full last June for a year and I’m wondering whether my insurance is still running even if the bike was a write off? James Allison, Itchenor

A Most insurers will allow you to change your motorcycle within a certain period following a non-fault accident. If you can’t or don’t intend to replace your bike within a reasonable time, you should cancel your policy. Answered by Christian Evitt, Carole Nash
