Revive the shine

Say goodbye to scuffed cans and pegs

Kill the grease

Remove the damaged part from the bike, taking off any clips or fasteners along with it. Give it a thorough degreasing to remove road dirt and oil then rinse well.

Grab the file

To remove surface scuffs, take a small file and lightly abrade the damaged area until it is smooth. Keep the file strokes in the same direction if possible.

Do paperwork

Now rub the entire part down with coarse sandpaper ( 180-240 grade). Then switch to progressively finer grades (from 400 to 1200) soaked in water.

Polish and buff

Apply aluminium polish using a grey Scotchbrite pad in one direction, then remove with a clean cloth. Buff to a high-shine with a microfibre cloth. Repeat if required.
