WALLACH LEADS THE WAY
The Women’s International Motorcycle Association chose MCN as its official media partner. In a letter to MCN readers, Theresa Wallach addressed UK members. Wallach was a racer, adventurer and all-round pioneer, riding a sidecar to South Africa in 1935 when roads barely existed. She went on to win the BMRC’S coveted Gold Star in 1939 for lapping Brooklands circuit at over 100mph – on a 350 Norton. Wallach never owned a car and was still riding at 88. Sadly she died at 90 in 1999.
