GREAT BRITISH RACING
See awesome action at close quarters when BSB hits Cadwell
Oli Rusby, BSB Reporter
Nowhere can you get closer to pro-level racers on track than at Cadwell Park’s Hall Bends – a stunning section of track buried in the woods at the Lincolnshire track where the fence is just metres away from the bikes. Right, left, right, left and then the tight right of the hairpin. While you won’t see much overtaking down here, it’s hard not to admire the BSB boys manhandling their 200bhp machines through one of the trickiest parts of the circuit.
Of course, there’s also the famous mountain section where many of the BSB guys launch into the air after a tight uphill section. With King of the Mountain Josh Brookes back this year, it’s sure to be spectacular. Set in an action-packed middle part of the season where riders are looking to secure their place in the three-round, title-fighting showdown, the racing is always dramatic and while Cadwell doesn’t possess an abundance of passing opportunities, it’s always fascinating to watch some of the world’s best racers try to find ways around their opponents.
