Scour MCN ads and dealers to unearth forgotten heroes
As the appearance of the spring sun heralds the latest new models arriving in showrooms, it is all too easy to get swept away in the excitement and forget about the machines that just a few weeks ago were taking pride of place. Pushed to the back of the showroom, these brand new bikes are quickly overlooked in favour of the latest offerings – sometimes for many years. So if you fancy riding a new bike this year, why not look beyond the 2017 metal and discover some hidden gems? With the help of Mcnbikesforsale.com we searched out some surprising new bikes that are great value for money.
Aprilia has culled a huge chunk of its range for 2017 including the Caponord, but you can still get a brand new top-spec 2016 bike for under £10,000 that comes with all the cutting-edge electronics and even panniers. That’s a saving of £3000! We even found a 2016 Rally Adventure for £9495, which is £4000 off its RRP and it only has 25 miles on its clocks.
The Hyperstrada was dropped from Ducati’s range for 2016, but In Moto and GT Motorcycles still have brand new 2015 bikes for sale for £8999. It has the old 821 engine, not the new 939, but comes with panniers. A 2016 pre-registered Z800, trumped by the new Z900 model, can be had for £6599, £1300 off RRP.
