BACK TO SCHOOL FOR HONDA
It was a baptism of fire for the allnew 2017 Honda Fireblade as it made its MCE British Superbike debut at Donington with Jason O’halloran and Dan Linfoot struggling to break into the top 10.
The Louth-based squad, which finished fourth and fifth in the series with the same two riders last year, have faced an uphill struggle since the late delivery of their new machinery just three months before the season’s start.
“It’s been a difficult start to the season and we know we have been on the back foot a little,” admitted team boss Havier Beltran. “I know Dan and Jason aren’t too happy, they want to be at the front and they are capable of that.”
