Rest of the family don’t like bikes? This event is for you (and them)

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Feature - Ped Baker, Managing Editor

The Brackley Festival is the complete family day out with stunt shows, a classic bike display, trials and scrambling displays, cafe racer and custom competitions plus a huge range of new models. Actually set in the town centre, the highlight is undoubtedly the classic parade in the high street. With over 70 machines taking part, from 1950s Manx Nortons to Motogp machines, shop windows rattle as the bikes thunder up and down the street – they don’t hang about!

For members of the family not quite as interested in bikes there is a large family fun fair, wall of death, familyfriendly food court, trade stands, Rockabilly bands and Brackley’s shops, coffee bars and restaurants – it will be hours before they’re bored. All profit from ticket sales (£7.50) goes to the Air Ambulance and local charities. O Info: Brackley Bike Festival, Brackley town centre, August 13 brackleyfestivalofmotorcy
