1. Sort some luggage

I plan on fitting soft luggage so I can rid myself of the monstrous backpack that’s been anchoring me down. I’m currently using an Oxford F1 tankbag, which has been working well, but I plan to try some factory-fit options.

2. Take it on a tour

I plan to visit a mate who, luckily for me, lives near some of Europe’s finest biking roads in the Alps. I can’t wait to put the Triple to the test on a properly long trip and also test its mettle on those amazing Alpine bends.

3. Fit a screen

OK, purists would say that a naked bike should stay naked, but I think I’ll want a bit of extra protection, especially as I’ll be using the bike as a work tool for far-flung photoshoots. I’ll see what aftermarket suppliers like Skidmarx have on offer.

4. Tear up the track

I’m a born and bred Lincolnshireman, so feel the need to take the Street RS to my (and its) spiritual home at Cadwell Park. I think it’ll be the perfect bike for wheelies over the Mountain.

5. Explore the electronics

I’ve never had traction control before, so I’d like to experiment with the modes and levels. I hear racers saying that it holds them back, but I want to find out how it works for someone like me.

Klausen Pass here we come. The RS was born for roads like this
