Gilo Industries, the parent company that owns Rotron and Crighton Racing, has secured a £24 million investment from a technology company in Hong Kong, and some of that cash will be used to develop new bikes.

“We’re really excited about this project as all of our other applications are incredibly specialised but this is a product people can actually buy,” says Gilo Cardozo, founder of Gilo Industries. “These engines have so many applications and we’d really like to see them in an adventure bike, as they’re small and lightweight while also being very powerful with a huge service life and almost no maintenance.”
