Baak to the future

A gorgeous Guzzi from Baak Motorcycles, that could be yours...

One of the only downsides to gorgeous custom motorcycles is that they are often one-offs. By the time you’ve seen it on these pages or online, it’s making its way into its owner’s hands never to find a home in your garage. baak Motorcycles, custom builders from Lyon, France, think that this should change.

This V7 Scrambler is built from a Moto Guzzi V7 base bike that they modify to give it a stylish dual-sport twist. One of the most striking elements of the bike is custom highline exhaust made in-house by BAAK that is said to sound as good as it looks. The front-end is cleaned up considerably by a Bates headlight and mini speedo, mini-indicators and a cropped stainless front mudguard.

To suit the scrambler name, the V7 is a fitted with a wide scrambler-style handlebar and off-road tyres. Completing the look is a smattering of leather goods including a tank strap, a new saddle and saddlebags plus leather fork gaiters (really). The cost for all this is €6600 (approx. £5500), which includes parts and labour, plus your own V7 as a donor bike. For more info visit

Pretty, but costs £5.5k on top of a V7 Leather saddlebag is very French ‘Leather. Fork. Gaiters.’ Let’s say that again...
