B-KING ARRIVES BUT CAN IT MATCH THE HYPE?
Suzuki had stunned the motorcycle world with its brutish concept bike at the Tokyo Show in 2001. The B-king did the rounds, snarling and showboating with a supercharger ready to unleash fire and brimstone. Only, it took six years to arrive on the market and although it had a Hayabusa engine and 160bhp, it was limited to 150mph and lacked a supercharger. The production bike never really lived up to the hype and expectation of the concept, but a decent used one will still set you back £6k.
