80th anniversary edition
To celebrate Moto Morini turning 80 years old in 2017, they have also produced a very small run of special edition 1200s called the Corsaro80. The Corsaro80 shares the same engine and most of the equipment as the 1200 ZZ, but builds on it with lightweight carbon and aluminium trinkets.
The highlight is the handwrought aluminium tank while the subframe, wheels, handlebars, mudguard, brake and clutch levers are all made from carbon-fibre.
Morini are only making eight Corsaro80s, so if you want one in your garage you’ll have to be quick. They’ll even inscribe your name on the bike. The price? Well if you have to ask, you can’t afford it – but if you need to check behind the sofa, you’ll need to unearth €29,000 (£24,500) for the top-spec version.
You wouldn’t want to share it with a pillion anyway...
