A full day’s sideways entertainment with the Dirt Track Riders Association, including the 750cc+ Hooligan race. Watch out for Chris Walker as he takes to the dirt track for the first time!

Dirt track racing is one of the fastest growing and most exciting race series in the UK and the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling will once again be hosting a full round of the championships. Held over both days, the racing spans all classes including youth, novice, pro, Thunderbike (600cc+), minibike and Vintage classes, plus the exciting Hooligan races (see right).

Dirt track racing differs from speedway in that the bikes have a rear brake and gears. Rounds are contested by up to 12 machines and the riders come from a wide range of disciplines including road racing, speedway and motocross. The top UK riders are good enough to compete worldwide so you can expect some top-level racing.
