Dirt track racing is one of the fastest growing and most exciting race series in the UK and the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling will once again be hosting a full round of the championships. Held over both days, the racing spans all classes including youth, novice, pro, Thunderbike (600cc+), minibike and Vintage classes, plus the exciting Hooligan races (see right).
Dirt track racing differs from speedway in that the bikes have a rear brake and gears. Rounds are contested by up to 12 machines and the riders come from a wide range of disciplines including road racing, speedway and motocross. The top UK riders are good enough to compete worldwide so you can expect some top-level racing.
