‘Full of charm and good value’
Learning about SWM’S varied model range was certainly an eye-opener. The 650R supermoto is a bit too focused for most, but the 440-engined bikes have real air-cooled retro appeal mated to very reasonable price tags. The build quality seems robust, and the styling is spot-on, complete with an obvious dose of Italian panache. They are never going to be huge sellers, but those who opt for one are almost guaranteed to fall for their unique charms. Faced with a Royal Enfield or a SWM, I’d almost certainly go for the more versatile, powerful, and better spec’d Italian options.
