SWM Gran Turismo

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Feature -

Having been pleasantly surprised and impressed by the Silver Vase and Gran Milano, the Gran Turismo was something of a let-down. It’s not that it’s a bad bike, far from it, it’s just not very special. The Turismo is everything the Vase is, but with more road- orientated Michelin Pilot Activ tyres. But where the Vase looks fantastic and the Milano is a joy to ride, the Turismo lacks the same appeal of a unique character, robbing it of a clear reason to warm to it.

It could just be me, and some riders may feel its classical look is more appealing than the other models’ fashion-pleasing style, but it left me a little cold. If you look at the Turismo and like what you see, then you will certainly also enjoy the engine’s spirit and sound, the comfortable riding position and the plush ride. Personally, I preferred the more adventurously-styled SWM models.
