What the hell are Bybre brakes? The KTM comes with Bybre. Eh, what? After a quick twominute Google session I discovered my brakes are fake Brembos. Or to put it correctly, Brembo is the proprietor of Bybre, Breco and Marchesini brands. More literally, Bybre is an abbreviation of ‘ By Brembo’ and the brand is specifically dedicated to small-to-medium displacement motorcycles and scooters. I know I’m small, but I don’t go into H&M for H&M Kids clothing – give me some Brembos!

KTM Powerparts

Christmas has come early, ’cos mama’s going shopping! Akrapovic slip-on? Yes please (£461). I’m also looking at some racy rearset footpegs, and a tank bag to help my commute. The £137 rear bag (10-30 litres) also fits perfectly on the KTM’S pillion seat, so I need this. And if I take the 125 to Wales I’ll definitely need the £206 side bag set. Long journeys also means a Usb-power outlet kit will come in useful.
