I ride a Blade every day and our varied weather means I often leave home in pouring rain but ride back after work in fantastic sunshine. Is there good all-round kit for a sportsbike that won’t leave me with a wet chest and crotch? Joe Simmonds, Kent

Answered by Keith A Roissetter, Infinity Motorcycles Clothing needs are one of those areas where it’s hard to strike a balance. The Alpinestars Patron pants are a well-cut textile/gore- Tex mix and match nicely with their T-jaws or TGPR jacket which would give you a waterproof (guaranteed for 12-months) outfit. The Dainese Amsterdam pants aren’t badly cut and will zip to any number of their jackets – the Hawker would probably best suit your needs. The RST Tractech Evo II jacket looks sporty, however the matching Tundra pants don’t look quite as good while the Spidi Warrior H2out may tick your boxes, especially matched with their Thunder trousers.
