LAVERTY Q 6th R1 13th/r2 DNF

Laverty and the Mil­wau­kee Aprilia team walked away with just a hand­ful of points af­ter two tough races. Strug­gling with the bike in race one, he made a step for­ward on Sunday but had a low­side at Cop­pice.

CAMIER Q 10th R1 6th, R2 6th

While Camier was un­able to re­peat his solid top five re­sults from last year, the MV Agusta star felt he couldn’t have done much bet­ter than the pair of sixth places he took from the week­end’s two races with the pack­age they have.

STAPLEFORD Q 4th Race 4th

It was Stapleford’s time to shine in the Su­pers­port class, with the former Bri­tish Cham­pion get­ting his new Pro­file Racing Tri­umph di­alled in and get­ting the bet­ter of tem­po­rary team­mate Jack Kennedy.

SMITH Q 8th Race 8th

The Team Lorini Honda man got his stalled sea­son back on track with a solid eighth po­si­tion. The 25-yearold clearly has the pace to run at the front and will be look­ing to build on his re­cent re­sults next time out in Misano.

FRAN­CIS Q 7th Race 10th

Wildcard rider Joe Fran­cis im­pressed for the Movuno Hal­sall Yamaha team in the Su­pers­port class. The 19-year-old was fifth quick­est in prac­tice beat­ing fel­low Brits Kyle Ryde and Gino Rea.
