Bob was robbed

Motorcycle News (UK) - - This Week -

On looking at the huge posters given in your TT edition (May 24) I was appalled to see that you had robbed the great Bob Mcintyre of the honour of the first 100mph lap in 1957. Apart from being in all the record books Bob himself describes it in his book. It was Geoff Duke in 1955 who was first credited with a ton up lap later amended to 98.97mph.
