Mcguinness is still the main man at the TT

Star must have been gutted but kept smiling

Motorcycle News (UK) - - This Week -

As if motorcycling’s love for John Mcguinness could get any greater… the big man took time out from his recovery to make a pilgrimage to the Isle of Man last weekend. The word legend just doesn’t do this man justice. He must have been gutted not to be able to race (not to mention the pain he must still be in from his NW200 accident) and yet he made the crossing and even travelled around chatting to folks on a trike. And the whole time he had a massive smile on his face . As for retirement, he is right to consider it and right not to rush into anything. Just like Ian Hutchinson a few years ago, he will face a big struggle to get back to full riding fitness – and as we all know, challenges don’t come much bigger than the 37.73 miles of the TT. Whatever he decides, we’ll all still love and respect him . James Robinson, email
