Be­fore the Speed Triple, Hinck­ley Tri­umphs were wor­thy and a bit dull. With this bike the re­born firm found their mojo and they haven't looked back.

Nakeds, ie de-fairinged sports­bikes, didn’t re­ally ex­ist be­fore the Speedie. Hinck­ley’s hand­somest changed all that.

THE SPEED TRIPLE CUP

One of the bet­ter one-make rac­ing se­ries did Speedie sales no harm. And, yes, that is Ron Haslam (num­ber 19).

TRI­UMPH’S STREET TRIPLE

The suc­cess of the big Speedie led a smaller ver­sion: first the Tt600-based Speed Four be­fore fi­nally the 675 Street Triple.
