NEW KYMCO OFFERS A LOT FOR £2K
Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturers Kymco have long been known for their great-value scooters and now they’re releasing another in the UK: the memorably named City Plus 125i CBS. So, what’s new?
Well first and foremost the City Plus has a new fuel-injected 125cc engine that is now Euro4 compliant, but which Kymco say still delivers 100mpg and a respectable top speed of 65mph. There are big changes in the handling department too, with a 14in rear wheel and longer travel suspension to help the bike cope with our terrible roads. The brakes are now linked front and rear for better control, too. Kymco have also redesigned the saddle, which they say makes it more comfortable while increasing the underseat storage area at the same time. The new storage area also now hosts a 12v outlet for charging phones and other gizmos. The fuel cap has also been repositioned at the front of the bike to make filling up a little easier.
The City Plus has also had a visual makeover with a more angular design, LED lights and updated digital dash. The Kymco City Plus 125i is available for £2199 and it even comes with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
