Car­bon­fi­bre frame Car­bon-fi­bre frame is made with a mass pro­duc­tion tech­nique called Resin Trans­fer Mould­ing which cuts pro­duc­tion time down from days to a few hours. Car­bon frame is 33% lighter than the alu­minium. Car­bon rims Wheels are also made in one piece, us­ing the same ad­vanced mould­ing tech­nique. BMW’S car­bon wheels are 30% lighter than even the forged alu­minium ver­sions that are an ex­tra on a stock S1000RR.
