SAM LOWES

Started: 10th Fin­ished: DNF Took a best-ever qual­i­fy­ing of tenth after pro­gress­ing through to qual­i­fy­ing two for the first time. De­spite crash­ing out of Sun­day’s race, Lowes came away from the week­end ex­cited to have made a ma­jor step for­ward.

SCOTT RED­DING

Started: 5th Fin­ished: DNF Red­ding made a strong start from fifth place on the grid, un­til a fad­ing front tyre forced him to slow. Looked set for a strong top 10 fin­ish un­til he crashed out of sev­enth at the chi­cane on the penul­ti­mate lap.

BRADLEY SMITH

Started: 22nd Fin­ished: DNF Al­ready in­jured after his Barcelona crash, Smith crashed again at Assen. Strug­gling to find a rhythm as he learned a new set-up on the KTM RC16, he ran into turn seven too hot and tucked the front to fall out of 20th.

TARRAN MACKENZIE

Started: 29th Fin­ished: 25th Mackenzie was able to make the most of his Bri­tish Su­pers­port ex­pe­ri­ence at the Dutch track to record his best re­sult so far de­spite a huge crash in qual­i­fy­ing that saw him write off the Kiefer Rac­ing Suter ma­chine.

RORY SKIN­NER

Started: 5th Fin­ished: 5th and 9th A week­end of ups and downs for the Scot in the Red Bull Rook­ies Cup, Skin­ner showed his po­ten­tial by qual­i­fy­ing on the front row only to be de­moted for a penalty from last time out in Jerez.

DAN JONES

Started: 15th Fin­ished: 13th and 10th The Welsh teenager had a good week­end on only his sec­ond out­ing in the Rook­ies Cup to come home in the points, with good pace on both Satur­day and Sun­day to fin­ish 13th and 10th and not so far from Skin­ner.
