Classic TT Isle of Man

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Feature -

Why it’s special A TT for enthusiasts of classic bikes, the Classic TT is more chilled-out than the main event and sees a wide array of historic machines ridden by top names including Michael Dunlop, Bruce Anstey and Peter Hickman.

The four races are as hectic as any TT, and the 37.73-mile course is exactly the same. The bikes are stunning – the superbike race sees 500GP bikes and 750cc Wsb-spec bikes go against big bangers like Suzuki XR69S. No other race event has the variety.

Away from the circuit the atmosphere is more relaxed and there is loads to see and do. The classic festival at Jurby is worth going to on its own – there are some great bikes and legends riding – last year saw Freddie Spencer attend. O Info
