BRADL PLEASED WITH ELEVENTH

Motorcycle News (UK) - - SPORT -

Stefan Bradl has had a horrid rookie season to date in WSB, not least because his bike has made little progress over the previous seven rounds.

In race one at Laguna he could at least see some signs of improvement and he scored a second 11th place on Sunday too. “The second part of the first race was not so bad and I was enjoying it, as I had some toys to play with and could see some potential in the bike.”

The team fielded a one-off replacement rider (following Nicky Hayden’s tragic death) for the American race with Jake Gagne, normally a Motoamerica runner, making a solid debut and finishing 15th in both races. He said: “It is a Honda superbike but, man, it is a whole different machine. A whole different beast.”
