Motorcycle News (UK) - - GARAGE -

Having passed the 1000-mile mark a short while ago, a few things have struck me about the brilliant Supersport S.

The switchgear is just a bit… well, odd. Hit the cancel indicator button and the engine modes flash for a few seconds before going off. And the flash button is so sensitive that a finger wafted anywhere near it sends a flash of light into the face of oncoming vehicles.

I’ve also discovered exactly how many miles it will do on a full tank – by running out! I only had 147 miles on the trip, and the range indicator had been showing ‘0’ for four miles. I’d hoped for a little more.

Switchgear isn’t as co-operative as hoped
