The site of some of the series’ greatest battles, Silverstone was no exception in 2016. Perhaps not the best for trackside spectating, it nonetheless creates close racing thanks to a layout that has a little something for everyone, from fast straights to flowing corners and first gear turns. It’s somewhere that both Yamaha and Maverick Viñales go well at though, and he could get his title aspirations back on track here. And then, of course, there is last year’s podium man Cal Crutchlow who’ll be giving it his all in front of his fans.
Can Cal give us something to cheer about at Silverstone?
