There’s probably no better place to get the season back underway than Brno. A neutral venue in recent years with Honda and Yamaha both sharing top honours, it’s one of the most level playing fields of the season. Last year it was Cal Crutchlow who gave his rivals a tactical masterclass in tricky conditions to take the win, but the odds of a similar stunt repeating itself in 2017 are probably slim. Instead, if conditions are good, it might finally be the location of the fabled Viñales versus Marquez duel that we’ve been waiting for all year.
