There was a chang­ing of the guard in Bri­tish pol­i­tics as Tony Blair handed over the Labour party (and the coun­try) to Gor­don Brown and Mo­togp im­posed an 800cc limit (down from 990cc).

While Labour’s mu­si­cal chairs may not have ended well, the Mo­togp re­form saw Casey Stoner, aboard a Du­cati romp away with the 2007 world ti­tle – which, to many, was a wel­come sight.
