Six great summer shorties

Motorcycle News (UK) - - News -

I’m after a short pair of waterproof summer boots that won’t look out of place or be uncomfortable off the bike. I do lots of shortdistance running around, but I still want a bit of protection. Phil Polden, Stevenage

A Answered by Keith Roissetter, Infinity Motorcycles The Oxford Mertons are a classic-looking leather boot, in black or brown, with lace-up fronts and a hidden zip for easy access. Features which the (brown only) Spada Pilgrim Grandes also boast. Styling is very subjective, so the Spada Kensingtons may work better for you, or maybe even the IXS Sharky boots with their Boa closing system. If you want something leaning in the casual trainer direction with some protection, then the Alpinestars J-6 WPS or Dainese Street Bikers may do what you want and both are available in a couple of colours.
