PICTURE OF THE WEEK
SAVE OF THE CENTURY
Yoshimura Suzuki’s Josh Brookes pulled off one of the most astonishing saves we’ve ever seen at this weekend’s Suzuka 8- Hour race in Japan. At one point, it all looked lost and you could almost hear a collarbone snapping. The Aussie said: “I had just one flying lap in qualifying, put my knee in the dirt on the inside of turn two, it dug in and ripped me off the bike. But I got back out in Q2 and all went smoothly…” Brookes and team-mate Sylvain Guintoli finished the race in seventh.
