The biggest show of the year is back!

Motorcycle News (UK) - - 2017 Motorcycle Live - Richard Newland, Deputy Editor

Motorcycle Live kicks off this weekend for nine days of motorcycle indulgence that’s likely to either damage your adrenal glands, or your wallet. Or quite possibly both.

From amazingly pretty 125s, to the most insanely endowed superbikes ever built, this year’s glut of new metal has something to appeal to almost every wallet, and certainly every predilection.

Some bikes obviously stand out from the crowd, and while I plan to tick off every single one of our Top 40 hot picks when I make my annual pilgrimage to Brum, there are a few that may cause me to linger longer.

The first is Kawasaki’s new Ninja H2 SX SE. They probably could have thought a little harder about the name, but they’ve clearly used all their mental capacity on the design. The spec sheet is more like a wish list than a record of fact. Let’s hope it delivers it all.

The second one I’ll have to be forcibly separated from is Ducati’s new Panigale V4 S. It’s achingly pretty, claims to be a fighter jet on two wheels, and I’ll never be able to afford one.

Finally, I’m very curious to see Yamaha’s Niken in the metal. Whatever it is, it’s certainly not normal – and that makes it extremely interesting.

Hope to see you there.
