Nothing beats biking for smiles
What a great picture of Allen on his Honda Monkey CZ100 outfit flying the chair in your First Bikes slot (MCN, October 24). You can tell this was the 1980s as today health and safety would be on his father Harry's case. "Tsk… no helmets? We can't have kids having fun." I ride an outfit regularly. It was purchased using my late mother's legacy for my youngest son Jake who is autistic and has learning difficulties. He loves it, especially when I take tight left-handers and fly the chair. I can hear him giggling over the exhaust. Jake has a seat belt but doesn't wear a helmet and I've already had input from 'concerned', parties over this? I explain the law and the joy each outing gives to my son. The smile on his face confirms it as Jake cannot speak.
