BKS MAJOR LANDMARKS
THE FIRST SUIT
1986: Brian Sansom produces a two-piece for Dorset police but it doesn’t carry the BKS badge.
1994: BKS is the world’s first leathers manufacturer to gain Ce-approval for their suits. Most mass-produced suits merely carry CEapproved armour. The suits aren’t fully Ce-certified.
FIT FOR A PRINCE
As a birthday gift, Prince William gets a set of BKS leathers. Brian received a call to attend Highgrove and measure-up the future King. He’s seen wearing the suit in various national papers aboard his Triumph Daytona.
2018: BKS became the UK’S only bespoke leather maker allowed to incorporate Alpinestars Tech-air airbag system into their leathers.
