Choose a mantra (pos­i­tive word or sound), sit qui­etly, close your eyes and re­peat the sound for 20 min­utes twice daily to reach in­ner calm. Ex­perts say one-to-one lessons are best but you can learn from a book or DVD. Done right, it low­ers blood pres­sure and stress hor­mones.
