Be Breast Aware

My Weekly - - Health -

“Regularly examining your own breasts can find a breast cancer early when it’s more likely to be treated successfully,” says Professor Carlo Palmieri, breast cancer expert at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. “About 20 per cent of cases are found this way so get into the habit of doing a breast self-examination once a month to familiarise yourself with how your breasts normally look and feel. Check for lumps, dimpled or puckered skin, nipple changes, such as inversion, discharge or a rash.”
