Think Twice About Implants

My Weekly - - Health -

Women who have breast implants are 38 per cent more likely to die from breast cancer than others who develop the disease, because they tend to be diagnosed later, say Canadian researchers. Previous studies have found that silicone and saline breast implants can create shadows on mammograms, which obscure large amounts of breast tissue, meaning that changes which could indicate cancer can go undetected.
