… to hear that the full-length Downton Abbey movie is definitely going ahead. Rumours have been swirling in the three years since the series ended but filming is finally confirmed. Julian
Fellowes is writing the script and all our favourites characters will be back – the Earl and Countess of Grantham, Lady Mary and Lady Edith, Anna Bates and the inimitable Dame Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess. This calls for tea on the lawn, I think!
