At 11am on November 11, 1918, the guns fell silent over Europe, but we will never forget the brave men and women who have died in war. Poppies always play a part in Remembrance Day, of course, and the thousands of ceramic poppies that created a weeping window and a wave at the Tower of London in 2014, have returned respectively to the Imperial
War Museum, London, and the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester. The stunning displays can be viewed until November 18 and November 25.
Our designer Judith was honoured to receive one of the original ceramic poppies as a birthday gift in memory of her late father, and she is one of thousands of people taking part in building a digital map to show where all the ceramic poppies are now. You can view it or add your own poppy at WWW.WHEREARETHEPOPPIESNOW.ORG.UK
