Play Around

A holiday isn’t a holiday without a good game or two. How about digging around your house or shed for things to create a crazy golf pitch on your lawn? A bit of unused drainpipe or an empty cereal box would be useful. And if you don’t have a golf club or ball, improvise with a broom and something round! Or if golf isn’t your thing, use some string and various household objects – old aluminium cans or plastic bottles would be great – to create a giant outdoor chess, drafts or noughts-and-crosses board. Plastic bottles filled with water would also make per fect skittles. You could even invite your neighbour over (following the distancing rules, of course) and have a summer holiday games tournament. www.myweekly.co.uk
