The Foo Fighters have opened a pub, the Foo arms, in east london What everyone’s talking about this Week

NME - - FRONT PAGE -

The Foo Arms is located at the site of existing pub The Dundee Arms, on Cambridge Heath Road, and will be open September 14–20. The opening coincides with the release of the band’s ninth album, ‘Concrete And Gold’.

The band announced the pub on Twitter, with a logo that sees two dragon skeletons holding a coat of arms, the words ‘KEEP CALM AND COME ON’, and the Latin words ‘Domine Dirige Nos’, which translate as ‘Lord, Guide Us’.

The pub will sell limited-edition merchandise – including pint glasses, mugs, teacup-andsaucer sets and teapots – and serve Foo Fighters beer.

Someone’s bound to have a Foo too many.
