1 Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Bender
Khaki green may not be the first shade you reach for, but you should, it’s flattering on every eye colour. The eyeshadow was applied to Jen’s eyes from the lashes to the socket and then a fine line of black kohl pencil was applied.
2 Rimmel Eye Pencil in White & Vintage and Cosmetics Company False Lashes in Betty
To make small eyes look bigger, use brown eyeshadow under the lower lashes and then use white eyeliner in the water line. Next apply lashes that ‘wing’ out at the edges.
3 Makeup Revolution Bronzer in Matte Bronzed
Foundation and concealer were applied to Jen’s skin and then a matte bronzer was used to add some warmth. To copy, apply to all the points that the sun would naturally tan, such as across the forehead, the cheeks, the nose and the chin.
4 L’oreal Paris Glam Shine 6HR Lip Gloss Fuchsia Obsession
Once your skin has the perfect summer glow, apply a little blush in a soft pink shade to the apples of your cheeks, this will give your face a little bit more definition. Finish with a bright lipgloss. This one from L’oréal smells amazing and lasts up to 6 hours!
5 Claire’s 30 Pack Blonde Large Kirby Grips and Scunci Finish Backcombing Brush
Now to hair; it was first backcombed and then the top section of the hair was pinned up and out of the way. A section of hair on each side of the face was then pinned back.
6 Tresemmé Freeze Hold Extra Strong Hold
To complete this modern take on the classic quiff, the hair at the crown was backcombed some more and a liberal helping of hairspray was applied. Then the top section of the hair was smoothed backwards, hiding the Kirby’s underneath.
